Biography Dr. Li
Ms. Ying Li is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist and has been licensed to practice in Maryland since 2001. Ms. Li earned her M.D. degree from the Hunan Medical College of China, also known as Yale-in-China. She also holds a Masters of Science Degree in Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to practicing acupuncture, Ms. Li worked in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a research fellow focusing on retinal vascular lesion of diabetes and autoimmune diseases.
Beginning in China, Ms. Li has over 30 years of experience in medicine, as practitioner as well as researcher and scholar. At Hunan Traditional Chinese Medical College, Ms. Li worked as a physician and published award-winning research papers in the field of eastern and western medicine. She also has over a decade of experience in medical research, working at prestigious public universities and institutes as well as private companies.
Ms. Li seeks to integrate both Eastern and Western medicine in her unique practice.
