Ms. Ying Li is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist and has been licensed to practice in Maryland since 2001. Ms. Li earned her MD Degree from the Hunan Medical College of China ( formerly-Yale-in-China) and her Master's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the US. Prior to practicing acupuncture, Ms. Li worked in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a research fellow focusing on retinal vascular lesion of diabetes and autoimmune diseases.

 

Ms. Li has special expertise in treating various pains, back pain, disc problem, arthritis, frozen shoulder, sciatica, infertility, impotence, fatigue, stress/anxiety, insomnia, side effects of chemotherapy and weight loss. 

 

Prior to coming to the United States, Ms. Li worked in the Hunan Traditional Chinese Medical College as a physician. Ms. Li seeks to integrate both Eastern and Western medicine into her unique practice. The two medicines are best when used to support each other.
